January, 1986 – after 16 months of marriage                    February, 2013 – after  28 1/2 years.

This is just a short one. 10,585 days. 29 years. September 22, 2013 will be that many days I have been privileged to call myself Mrs. Richard Mark Hudson.

They have been eventful, those 10,585 days. Our children. Our grandchild. Our son in law. 2 high school graduations, 1 college graduation. Days when the U. S. Navy kept us apart – by whole continents. Yet through it all, here we are.

You took me on, with Ryan in tow. Why, I’ll never know. I loved you then, I love you now. I still mean my wedding vows. For better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health.

Step by step, we have forged our way. Together. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
